🧂 Ingredients
- 2 bottles red wine (Merlot or Cabernet)
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 8 whole cloves
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup brandy (optional)
- 4 cardamom pods
📝 Instructions
- Pour wine into a large pot
- Add sliced oranges and all spices
- Stir in honey
- Heat on low until warm (do not boil)
- Simmer for 20 minutes
- Add brandy if using
- Strain and serve warm
💡 TIP: Keep warm in a slow cooker for parties. Add a cinnamon stick and orange slice to each glass when serving.
